Coal Fair Coordinator’s Program 1996-2007

This program rewards Coordinators for excellence in performing their duties in promoting and organizing the Coal Fair in their respective schools. The Coordinator is a teacher appointed by their Principal to be the liaison between CEDAR and interested students at their school, responsible for the distribution of material and dissemination of program information. The Coordinator also is responsible for their school’s participation in the Regional Fair. Each Coordinator is rated on a scoring system with three cash awards totaling $2,000 available to First, Second and Third place winners representing all grades K-12.

During the eleven years of this program, CEDAR has awarded thirty-three teachers a total of $21,853.
